Garden
In a world where the artificial is inexorably replacing the natural, the garden is a borderland. At the same time, it is a closed system with its own rules, landscape features, and a demiurge—the gardener. Plants, insects, animals, and even the garden tools are all part of a unified whole, existing in constant interaction with each other. As an author, my task is to observe and reflect on the possible future of this metaphorical ceramic garden. Will there be a symbiosis between the natural and the man-made? The figure of the invisible gardener is a deity who creates order from chaos, or a villain whose selfish intervention irreversibly changes the natural essence of things. Is there room for growth and development in a system that is subject to someone else's will?
