In this series of sculptures, the cheerful and unchecked consumerism characteristic of contemporary life is transferred from the ordinary domestic pet to a giant caterpillar. Like other beloved pets, they rest on soft cushions and wear kawaii bows. They pose for their owners’ social media feeds.
